Carlo Carrà (Quargnento, 1881 - Milano, 1966) fu una delle personalità su cui meglio si rispecchiò l'arte italiana del primo Novecento. Il pittore aderì prima al futurismo e poi alla metafisica senza mai stabilirsi in maniera definitiva in un nessun movimento.
